Apple Watch

Ride from your wrist.

Start on your Watch and leave the phone in the other room. Heart rate from your wrist, watts from your trainer, both screens in sync. No iPhone nearby? Your Watch drives the trainer itself.

Apple Health

Every ride. In Health.

Every ride is saved to Apple Health automatically, with heart rate and calories from your Watch. Look back at peak power, power and heart-rate zones, and heart-rate drift: the honest measure of your endurance.

Free rides and unlock

Five rides free. Then once.

Calmavelo is a free download. You try it with your own trainer first, and unlock it only if you want to keep riding. Here is exactly how it works.

1

Five free rides

Ride five times with your own trainer, nothing held back. A ride counts once it lasts ten minutes, so connecting and testing your trainer is free. Rides are counted in Apple Health, so reinstalling the app doesn’t hand out more. Used them all up? Take one more ride on us before you decide.

2

One purchase

One in-app purchase of $14.99 unlocks every ride for good, on iPhone and Apple Watch. No subscription, no renewals, no ads, no upsell. Nothing else to buy, ever.

3

Family Sharing included

Buy it once and share it with your family. Everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group can use Calmavelo on their own iPhone and Apple Watch, at no extra cost and with their own rides in their own Apple Health.

4

Yours on every device

Your unlock belongs to your Apple Account, not to one device. New iPhone? Tap Unlock, then Restore Purchase. If a parent has to approve the purchase with Ask to Buy, Calmavelo unlocks as soon as it’s approved.

Questions about buying or restoring? See Support.

Before you ride.

Which trainers work?

Smart trainers that support Bluetooth FTMS (Fitness Machine Service). Most current direct-drive and wheel-on smart trainers do. Pedal once to wake yours and it shows up in the list.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. With a Watch you get heart rate and calories from your wrist, and you can start and control rides from it. Without one, your iPhone records the ride and estimates calories from your power.

Can I ride with just my Apple Watch?

Yes. Start a ride on your Watch; if your iPhone isn’t around, the Watch connects to the trainer itself.

Where do my rides go?

Into Apple Health, on your devices. There’s no Calmavelo account and no server that stores your rides.

Is it really a one-time purchase?

Yes. Try five rides free with your own trainer. Then one purchase unlocks Calmavelo on your iPhone and Apple Watch for good. No subscription, no ads, nothing else to buy. How the unlock works

Can my family use it too?

Yes. Calmavelo supports Apple Family Sharing. Once you’ve bought it, everyone in your family group can unlock it on their own devices at no extra cost. Family Sharing has to be turned on in Settings on your iPhone.

I bought it already. How do I get it on a new iPhone?

Open Calmavelo, tap “Unlock” and then “Restore Purchase”. Your purchase belongs to your Apple Account, so it works on every iPhone and Apple Watch signed in with it.

My trainer doesn’t show up.

Make sure Bluetooth is on, pedal to wake the trainer, and close any other trainer app; most trainers only accept one connection at a time. More help.
